Atlanta Beltline Inc. (ABI) has announced the start of design for the Murphy Crossing Beltline infill MARTA station. Join us at Wild Heaven Brewery from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 29th for this public meeting. It’s been 3½ years since the mayor announced he wanted to see 4 MARTA infill stations on the Beltline, and Atlanta Beltline Inc. is starting the 15% design phase (why MARTA isn't designing a MARTA station is one question inquiring minds want to ask).
Register at https://beltline.org/events/6acfb6cb7acb11470c717baf/ to attend in person or https://beltline.org/events/6acfb75b7acb11470c717c2d/ to attend virtually. In-person attendees get complimentary food and beverages and a real engagement opportunity to ask questions, for example:
How much will the station cost, and who’s footing the bill?
How long will the design take to complete?
When would construction begin?
What needs to happen to get this station built—and what could cause more delays?
Show up, ask questions, and help keep Beltline transit moving forward.
