Reynoldstown Banner Unfurl
Join us for a big “reveal” rally this Saturday AM on The Beltline trail for the unfurling of our new supergraphic banner. Words from City Council President Doug Shipman and other speakers from the community will highlight the urgent need for Mayor Dickens to move quickly and continue the forward movement of light rail on the BeltLine.
Wear your BRN T-shirt, bring your signs or come as you are and join us to celebrate a new way to support light rail transit connecting 45 Atlanta neighborhoods.
How will BeltLine rail be used?
We’re hosting this Zoom panel discussion to address WHO will ride BeltLine rail and HOW it will be used. They bring a diversity of thought and lived experience to the conversation.
Our panelists include disability activist Carden Wyckoff, Murphy Crossing developer Joel Dixon, and transit engineer and urbanist Phil Veasley. BRN Board member Nathan Clubb, a BeltLine resident, will moderate the discussion.
There will be time for Q&A in this 60-minute meeting. You’ll receive a registration confirmation after completing this form with instructions on how to join. If you do not receive an email after completing this form, please email info@beltlinerailnow.org.

Remember that awesome rally at City Hall? 75 of our supporters showed up, and we've been getting amazing news coverage and blogs about BeltLine rail. And last week, Mayor Dickens announced four new MARTA Infill stations, three of them on the BeltLine. MARTA contractor HDR has started engineering work for phase 1 of the BeltLine rail.
There are still people trying to stop the BeltLine rail, but we're not giving up. We want to keep the positive momentum going and that's where you come in.
Please join us by participating in the Inman Park Festival!

Celebrate by walking with BeltLine Rail Now in the Inman Park Parade
After many years of studies, plans, and talks, the project is ready to come out of engineering and into final design and construction. We’d like to celebrate that while making it clear to our leaders and the media that the support for Atlanta’s project remains strong.
The Streetcar East Extension includes the first 1.4 miles of rail on the BeltLine to Ponce City Market.
It’s one of 9 top-priority More MARTA transit projects, and the only rail project.
NIMBYs and anti-transit actors have been aggressive in their efforts to abandon the plan. Our city leaders and MARTA need to hear and see that the vast majority still support the BeltLine’s efforts to improve equity & access for ALL Atlantans.
BeltLine Rail Now will be at the corner of Krog St and Spruce St NE at 12pm on Saturday, April 29, to provide T-shirts as a thank-you for a $25 credit card donation.
We will also bring signs for anyone wishing to join the parade.
Join the fun & show your support for rail along the BeltLine. BRN is pushing for improvements to the look and functionality of this important project!
See more details and photos at https://festival.inmanpark.org
Here are more details about the parade:
The 51st Inman Park Festival Parade will make its annual roll through the streets of Inman Park at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Inman Park is proud to present Atlanta’s quirkiest and most colorful parade led by the Inman Park butterfly and followed by marching bands, floats, art cars, drill teams, mascots, clowns, jugglers, politicians, and many, many more.
PARADE ROUTE, LINE-UP & RAIN OR SHINE!
The Parade takes place rain or shine. The Parade route begins on Edgewood Avenue at Spruce Street, goes down Edgewood to Hurt Street, turns left on Hurt Street to Euclid Avenue, and turns right on Euclid Avenue to Austin Avenue where it disbands at the traffic light in front of Little 5 Points Community Center. The Parade route length is one (1) mile. The Parade steps off promptly at 2 pm; however, all Parade units must report to the staging area between Krog and Spruce by 1:00 pm for Line-Up.
