Join Us for a Transit Social

  • 97 Estoria 727 Wylie Street Southeast Atlanta, GA, 30316 United States (map)

It has been a big week for activity around the light rail that Atlantans have been promised, taxed for, and continue paying toward.

Councilmember Mary Norwood has introduced a resolution, expected to be considered at an upcoming City Council meeting and in committees, that would pave over the light rail right-of-way and replace it with lanes for bicycles and motorized vehicles. We want to talk about what this could mean for the future of Beltline rail, and we imagine you do, too.

Join members of Beltline Rail Now and other transit supporters this Friday evening, May 8, from 6:30–9:00 p.m. at 97 Estoria (727 Wylie St SE, Atlanta) to gather, have a drink or a bite, and connect with others who care about the future of transit in Atlanta.

There will be no formal agenda or presentation. This is simply a chance to meet fellow advocates, learn more, share ideas, and begin thinking together about next steps. If you are considering making a public comment at the May 18 City Council meeting, this will also be a great opportunity to start brainstorming and shaping your talking points.

We hope to see you there!
