As the Atlanta Beltline opens the Southside Trail, we celebrate a major milestone: the connection of the northwest, west, southwest, southeast, east, and northeast Beltline into one continuous path.

That is worth celebrating.

And it is also a reminder that the full Beltline vision will not be complete until rail makes that same connection — linking all 22 miles, all 45 Beltline communities, 20 Atlanta Public Schools, 5 MARTA stations, and so much more.
