Unhappy with the lack of accountability and transparency at MARTA regarding Beltline rail? Disgusted by the wasting of $9.1 million and 7 years of planning for Streetcar East without one word of public comment and no official report about it from MARTA? We think you are. But what is there to do about this now since it’s already happened, right? MARTA is going before the Atlanta Transportation Committee at Wednesday’s meeting to explain what happened with the secret vote and why they didn’t let City Council know.

We're asking everyone to join us at the Atlanta City Council Transportation Meeting this Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Larry M. Dingle Committee Room 1 on the 2nd floor.

A few important tips:

• Arrive early — the room is small, and conference rooms can change

• Sign up to speak by 9:30 AM — names must be on the list by then

• Driving? Leave plenty of time — downtown traffic was brutal at the last meeting
