Decisions are being made now about rail on the BeltLine! We have heard that rail will not go around the BeltLine until 2050.
Atlanta City Council President, Felicia Moore, responded to our letters asking us to come to Wednesday’s Transportation Committee Meeting. Come speak for rail all the way around the BeltLine by 2030!

Atlanta Regional Council Update on Beltline Light Rail Transit is on the agenda so sign up to speak at beginning of meeting. The agendas are online for review before the meeting.
Notes on what to say:
1. Prioritize the full Beltline Light Rail Transit loop in both directions on the More MARTA list.
2. Fund the entire Beltine Rail loop for project completion by 2030.
I understand MARTA will announce this summer the final prioritized project list for the More MARTA tax that was approved in 2016. I was happy to see MARTA vote last October to support light rail on three-quarters of the loop. I want to make sure rail on the BeltLine remains a high priority for our city. Rail around the entire BeltLine will enable me to move around the city to work, shop, education, healthcare, parks, recreation, child care, arts, restaurants, and more. It will also create equity by connecting diverse areas of the city together and providing transit for areas with low vehicle ownership.
Your support for this important project would be appreciated.
